The Role of Bankruptcy Ombudsman as the Supervisor of the Administration of Bankruptcy Estates in Finland
Finnish law relating to the supervision of bankruptcy estates is codified in the Act on the Supervision of the Administration of Bankruptcy Estates. The Act came into force and the Office of Bankruptcy Ombudsman was founded on 1 March 1995. Bankruptcy Ombudsman since 2005 is Mrs Eeva Arko-Koski, LL.M.
The Office of Bankruptcy Ombudsman is a member of the International Association of Insolvency Regulators (IAIR).
